If you are living in London you will definitely be wanting to make the most of the cheap flights and accommodation deals on offer. There are four main airports which you would fly from in London: Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton and Stansted Airports.
Gatwick Airport:
There are 2 Terminals at Gatwick so check your tickets to see whether your flight is from the North or South terminal
The Gatwick Express is the most widely used train service which takes you to Gatwick Airport. The Gatwick Express leaves from Victoria every 15 minutes on the hour and takes 30 minutes.
National Express coaches have direct services to and from Gatwick Airport and leave from both terminals.
Heathrow Airport
There are 4 terminals at Heathrow Airport. You can walk between Terminals 1, 2 and 3, however Terminal 4 is a later addition to the airport so is around a 10 minute bus journey from the Heathrow Central Bus Station and the other terminals.
Heathrow Express is a fast train which departs from Paddington Station, London. It departs every 15 minutes direct for Heathrow and takes approximately 15 minutes.
National Express coaches have direct services to and from Heathrow Airport and leaves from all terminals.
Stansted Airport
Stansted Airport’s railway station is only two minutes from the check in desks, and the coach station is located on the ground floor outside the terminal.
Stansted Express is a fast train which departs from Liverpool Street, London. It departs every 15 or 30 minutes direct for Stansted and takes on average approximately 45 minutes.
National Express coaches have direct services to and from Stansted Airport and leaves from the main terminal.
Luton Airport
Luton airport has one terminal only, and at this stage there is no express train to the airport. Apart from driving you can only get to the airport by coach or train.
National Express coaches has daily services to and from Luton Airports main terminal.
