What makes you passionate about recruitment?
Not only do I love working in recruitment, but recruitment in London is on another level. London is such a diverse city and working in recruitment you get to work with candidates and clients from all around the world, it’s the most exciting thing. There is also no better feeling than finding someone a job they love.

Where did you live before calling London home?
Wellington, New Zealand.

What is your favourite thing about London?
Growing up in New Zealand I competed in tap dancing competitions across the country whilst also running my own dance school. Performing arts, theatre and musicals have always been a passion of mine which is why (when the wallet allows) I try to get to The West End! A must see is definitely Hamilton – you have to go!

What can’t you start your day without?
My alarm.

What is your favourite weekend pastime?
If you asked me this question in my first couple of years in London, you would get a very different answer. A takeaway and good Netflix binge session is my ideal Friday or Saturday night in. I also love a good puzzle.

What is your favourite quote?
‘I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion’’ – Muhammad Ali. Learning, developing and growing is always hard, but if you don’t have the lows you can never have the highs!

What do you love about Australasian?
The team, I’d be lucky to find another bunch of people that are as dedicated, passionate and committed.

What makes you passionate about recruitment?
Aside from the obvious desire to want to help people, what draws me to recruitment is the unpredictability of the day to day - due to a constantly evolving market, ever-changing demands and ultimately the inability to control people. The scope for personal development in this job is endless!

A small town called Healesville in the Yarra Valley, about an hour outside of Melbourne.

What is your favourite thing about London?
There is something new to experience around every corner. London truly is an incredible city.

What can’t you start your day without?
Copious amounts of coffee!

Where is your favourite travel destination and why?
The Galapagos Islands. I’ve been a Darwinist since I was a child so fell in love with Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands – it is indescribable and should be on everyone’s bucket list.

What is one of your pet peeves?
Just one? Jokes. Society’s acceptance of the incorrect use of the word ‘literally’. It’s an epidemic.

What makes you passionate about recruitment?
The foundation of my passion for recruitment comes from the urge to help others and build connections with people. I wake up every day and am happy to come to work- you can’t ask for much more!

What is your favourite quote?
‘Which do you want- the pain of staying where you are, or the pain of growth’ Judith Hanson Lasater.

What makes you passionate about recruitment?
People, people, people! I have always cared greatly about helping others, having originally studied health science in order to work within community prevention. Fast forward to now, seeing the hard work we put in every day creating opportunity for others to better themselves and their career is the most rewarding role I could think of!
