One of the world's leading Universities is looking for a Student Recruitment Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis. You will be assisting the recruitment marketing team who are responsible for meeting the School's targets for the recruitment of high calibre international students for our postgraduate programmes. You will be providing a high level of customer service to prospective students at every stage of the application process.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the implementation of student recruitment plans in the School's domestic and international target markets
  • Implementing events and other student communication strategies
  • Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from prospective students, by email, telephone and in person
  • Building and maintaining relationships with prospective students
  • Making initial assessment on candidates suitability for their chosen programme in line with eligibility criteria
  • Organising candidate consultation schedules for Student Recruitment Managers
  • Facilitating connections with Student Ambassadors and Alumni for strong applicants
  • Supporting the Student Recruitment Manager in the delivery of programme student recruitment plans
  • Working closely with the Programme Marketing team to ensure accurate, timely and effective promotion of recruitment events through the Business School website, email marketing campaigns, social media and advertising
  • Pulling lead source reports and update lead management systems daily to reflect the ongoing recruitment activity of the team
  • Compiling regular statistical reports to be included in weekly, monthly and annual statistical recruitment reports and disseminating amongst key stakeholders
  • Analysing the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns in target markets
  • Support the Student Recruitment Manager to build relationships with key universities, sponsorship bodies, companies and other appropriate organisations in target markets
  • Contributing to print and online promotional materials to support recruitment activities
  • Raising purchase orders as and when required
  • Editing and updating the applications pages on the School's website

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to first degree (or equivalent standard)
  • Experience of working in Higher Education or a similar customer-focused sector
  • Experience of using CRM systems to build effective relationships with target audiences
  • First rate written and oral communications skills, including excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to undertake various tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
