We have a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Assistant for a government and professional services client in London, if you are politically aware and have at least 3 years of assistant or office experience then this opportunity could be for you. This is an Executive Assistant position supporting a senior member of the team and is a key role within this organisation. You will be responsible for providing EA, secretarial support, and other administrative functions in the office to help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the team.

THE ROLE: 
  • Managing and following complex administrative systems and procedures
  • Managing multiple projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing support to senior team members and liaising with a wide range of senior stakeholders
  • Handling highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent standard of numeracy and computer literacy
  • Exceptional administration skills and attention to detail
  • Programme and project management – able to identify operational and resource requirements
  • to drive progress and manage and mitigate risk to meet performance targets and deadlines
  • Communication/interpersonal skills – excellent written and verbal communication skills as well
  • as relationship building focus; and problem solving skills – ability to act on own initiative and provide prompt, practical, cost
  • Effective solutions to challenges and problems
THE ESSENTIALS:
  • Three to four years of previous successful experience in a secretarial or administration support role to a manager and or team
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills, including ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure
  • Strong customer focus, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and work within a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Degree educated preferred
