An exciting opportunity to support a leading university providing support to people moving to London as an Administration Assistant!
ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT ROLE:
- Assisting in performing financial reconciliations
- Ensuring all finance policies and procedures are adhered to and highlight concerns immediately with the aim of reducing fraud and errors
- Maintaining and updating budget knowledge ensuring that all expenditure is approved by the correct budget holder
- Inputting all payroll monthly within set deadlines, entering timesheets and pay for all employees on payroll including staff, faculty and casual workers
- Filing all HR documentation, ensuring all documents are accurate and comply with data privacy, security and confidentiality
- Assisting with the recruiting, onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assisting staff with basic HR enquires, ensuring complex queries are escalated to the Associate Director
- Assisting the planning of staff events and communications aimed at positive employee engagement
- Continually developing awareness and knowledge of the ways diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility shape and impact students and staff and faculty experiences
- 12 months experience working in a high administrative role
- 12 months experience working in finance and providing reconciliations assistance
- Willingness to learn and ability to take on knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
