Business Development Executive
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
A 12-month temporary contract with the potential to go permanent working in an advertising and media sales for the UK’s largest trade show within sustainable heat, water, air and energy sectors.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ROLE:

A 12-month temporary contract with the potential to go permanent working in an advertising and media sales for the UK’s largest trade show within sustainable heat, water, air and energy sectors.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ROLE:
- Identifying and targeting potential clients through market research, industry events, and networking
- Generating leads and building a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities
- Selling exhibition stands and packages for the trade show annually
- Keeping a clear and accurate record of activities, opportunities, and sales via Salesforce CRM system
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Creating compelling proposals and presentations to showcase event services and capabilities
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Collaborating with the event planning team to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded
- Preparing reports on sales performance and market trends
- Travelling to industry events domestically and internationally depending on experience
- Minimum 1 year of corporate sales experience
- Must be able to work 5 days based in the office
- An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Highly organised with a pro-active working style
- Team player and the ability to offer support outside of main responsibilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Sales experience preferable
- Customer service experience preferable
- Previous phone based experience
- Comfortable working within a phone based role
- Tech savvy being proficient with Microsoft 365 and being able to pick on internal systems quickly
