Our client is seeking a Finance Administrator for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting day-to-day finance administration, assisting with bursary assessments, preparing reports, and responding to queries from schools and parents. You will act as a front-line customer service contact, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with Trust procedures. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years’ finance administration experience and strong organisational skills.

You will act as a front-line customer service contact, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with Trust procedures. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years’ finance administration experience and strong organisational skills.
ADMINISTRATOR ROLE:
- Dealing with day-to-day tasks, including emails from schools and parents and bursary assessments (new, renewal and post-entry applications)
- Assisting schools, parents and Trust Office colleagues with queries
- Working collaboratively with the Trust’s Fees Department and schools to communicate and explain changes in working practices
- Dealing professionally and efficiently with all tasks while complying with Trust processes and procedures
- Reviewing B+ and logging and resolving issues with Applicaa
- Preparing reports
- Assisting the Financial Assistant Manager with planning, process reviews and general day-to-day tasks
- Having 1–2 years’ finance administration experience
- Working as a front-line customer service point of contact
- Working towards and supporting the organisation’s vision and its strategic and operational objectives
- Maintaining high professional standards of work and conduct
- Receiving 30 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
