BUSINESS SALES EXECUTIVE
We are looking for four temporary Business Sales Executives to join a growing global event company for 6–12 months, with potential to extend. You will support USA-based events, working 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, fully office-based in Wimbledon. The role involves driving sales, managing client relationships, and promoting international construction and building trade shows. Ideal candidates are motivated, target-driven, and ready to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced team.

BUSINESS SALES EXECUTIVE ROLE:
- Building and managing a robust sales pipeline for the USA market, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities aligned with the company’s event portfolio
- Conducting cold outreach to prospective clients across the USA via email, phone, LinkedIn and industry platforms
- Researching and mapping the USA events landscape, identifying target sectors, key decision-makers and emerging market opportunities
- Developing and maintaining a structured lead generation strategy to ensure a consistent flow of qualified prospects into the pipeline
- Nurturing leads from initial contact through to handover or close, maintaining accurate CRM records
- Collaborating with senior leadership and event delivery teams to align USA business development activity with overall growth objectives
- Identifying opportunities for repeat business, partnerships and long-term client relationships within the USA market
- Attending industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to generate leads and raise brand presence in the USA
- Preparing proposals, pitch materials and tailored outreach messaging specific to the USA audience
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends within the USA events sector and providing insights to the wider business
- Tracking and reporting on business development activity including pipeline value, outreach metrics and conversion rates
- Ensuring all outreach and data handling complies with relevant UK and USA data protection and anti-spam regulations
- Having a minimum of 12 months’ experience in winning cold business
- Demonstrating proven success in securing cold business opportunities
- Bringing experience in event sales
