HEAD OF WELFARE SERVICES
A permanent opportunity to join a UK charity that delivers life-changing fundraising and national events. You will lead and develop welfare services, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and support across all activities. Working with a committed, high-performing team, you’ll play a key role in shaping policy, improving practice, and embedding best-in-class welfare provision. This role is fully remote, with regular national travel required to support events and teams on the ground.

HEAD OF WELFARE SERVICES ROLE:
- Modelling charity values and promoting strategic direction
- Leading the welfare team, setting goals and coaching performance
- Overseeing casework, guiding case managers and shaping support plans
- Reviewing caseloads, tracking progress and adapting interventions
- Managing grants, monitoring levels and securing sustainable outcomes
- Building partnerships, mobilising resources and representing the charity
- Ensuring compliant practice, gdpr adherence and secure record keeping
- Coordinating welfare audits, reporting and continuous service improvement
- Delivering training and presentations, managing the learning platform and aligning messaging
- Demonstrating a minimum of two years’ experience in a welfare management role
- Using Salesforce CRM to manage records and workflows
- Working as a team player and providing support beyond core responsibilities
