RECRUITMENT AND ADMISSIONS OFFICER
A leading London university is seeking a proactive and motivated Recruitment and Admissions Officer to join its high-performing Admissions team on a 12-week temporary basis. This role supports prospective students through the admissions process, helping them secure places on prestigious programmes while ensuring a smooth and efficient application journey. Hybrid working is offered, with three days per week in the office. Previous higher education experience is highly desirable.

RECRUITMENT AND ADMISSIONS OFFICER ROLE:
  • Administering the full applicant lifecycle from enquiry to enrolment and maintaining accurate records across CRM systems
  • Building relationships with prospective students and providing clear guidance on programme suitability and admissions requirements
  • Supporting application review, interview coordination and decision‑making and issuing formal offers
  • Managing communication and engagement campaigns and representing the Business School at domestic, international and online events
  • Preparing reports on recruitment and admissions activity, including demographics, conversion and yield
  • Supporting scholarship shortlisting and contributing to reviews of entry requirements and selection criteria
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including Registry, Marketing, Business Systems and Insights, to ensure efficient processes and effective recruitment activity
  • Providing operational support, including minute taking, purchase orders, compliance tasks and flexible team support during peak periods
RECRUITMENT AND ADMISSIONS OFFICER ESSENTIALS:
  • Being educated to a first‑degree level or demonstrating proven experience at an equivalent standard
  • Bringing administrative experience within Higher Education or a similar customer‑focused sector
  • Providing a responsive, customer‑focused service via telephone, electronic communication and face-to-face
  • Prioritising tasks effectively and managing busy workloads to meet deadlines
  • Updating records and maintaining accuracy within CRM systems
  • Working cooperatively as part of a team while also operating independently when required
  • Achieving a high output and working to consistently high standards
  • Taking pride in producing quality work
