ATTENDANCE OFFICER
A fantastic all-through school is seeking an experienced Attendance Officer to provide vital administrative and operational support to ensure outstanding attendance across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a culture of high attendance, supporting students and families, and maintaining accurate attendance data in line with school policies and statutory requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a culture of high attendance, supporting students and families, and maintaining accurate attendance data in line with school policies and statutory requirements.
ATTENDANCE OFFICER ROLE
- Leading on attendance strategy across two schools, ensuring procedures and policies are effectively embedded and consistently applied
- Tracking and analysing attendance data to identify students needing support and highlighting potential safeguarding concerns
- Advising on and implementing strategies to promote regular and punctual attendance, including leading whole-school initiatives
- Building productive relationships with students, particularly those with poor attendance or social care involvement
- Providing pastoral support, guidance and feedback to students to aid behavioural, emotional and social development
- Addressing conflict and challenging behaviour with confidence while responding to safeguarding issues promptly and appropriately
- Acting as the lead professional on Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plans where required
- Holding GCSE Maths and English at grade B/6 or above
- 12 months in a school administrative role
- Having experience working with young people from complex backgrounds
- Demonstrating a history of continually improving pupil outcomes
- Showing a desire to work in a pioneering and forward-thinking environment
- Representing the school confidently with parents and external stakeholders
- Adapting effectively in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced setting
- Building strong, positive relationships with colleagues, pupils and parents
