TEAM ASSISTANT
We are recruiting on behalf of a global financial services organisation for a Team Assistant to support its Data Engineering function. This role involves managing a range of central operational and administrative activities, ensuring the smooth running of a highly technical and fast-paced team.

The Data Engineering team is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality data across the organisation, including building and maintaining central data platforms and supporting data governance. You will work closely with internal teams to support coordination, organisation, and efficient day-to-day operations within this critical function.

TEAM ASSISTANT ROLE:
  • Managing onboarding and off‑boarding of employees and contingent workers using WAND
  • Raising RM and contingent worker requests
  • Initiating transfers and completing follow‑ups for inter‑ and intra‑department moves
  • Maintaining and cleansing the RMS tree through weekly data issue clean‑ups
  • Managing Cyborg access and administration
  • Supporting hiring efforts by coordinating FTE and contingent worker onboarding requirements, including background check follow‑ups
  • Monitoring programme and project hygiene to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Validating Artemis time booking entries
  • Overseeing quarterly Business Continuity Plan certification processes
TEAM ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:
  • Bringing two to three years of experience within the financial services industry, preferably in an analytical role
  • Demonstrating strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Communicating effectively with strong listening, written, and verbal skills
  • Maintaining exceptional attention to detail across all work
  • Managing multiple time‑sensitive projects while maintaining a high quality of delivery
  • Applying critical and analytical thinking with sound judgement and a thoughtful approach to decision‑making
  • Demonstrating advanced capability in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for business use
  • Working in a results-oriented and proactive manner
  • Solving problems effectively through strong analytical and reasoning skills
