TEAM ASSISTANT
We are seeking an experienced Senior Float Team Assistant to join a fast-paced Asset Management team. The successful candidate will have at least five years' Team Assistant experience, ideally including exposure to banking, asset management or financial services, and a proven track record supporting large, busy teams across multiple levels of seniority. TEAM ASSISTANT ROLE:
- Effectively manage a high volume of phone calls. Place, receive, screen and route calls as needed. Take detailed and accurate messages
- Coordinate meetings and conference calls, maintain banker contacts
- Effectively manage a high volume of banker calendars
- Coordinate travel, including flights, multi-leg international travel, visa applications, car transfers, hotel reservations, cash advances, and prepare itineraries
- Process travel and entertainment expense reports timely and accurately; ensure compliance with expense guidelines
- Interact with colleagues in a professional and effective manner
- Perform general tasks, including but not limited to copying, archiving, and filing
- Foster a team-oriented environment, providing support and sharing responsibility with other members of the phone group
- Other ad hoc projects and duties as requested
- Perform general tasks, including but not limited to faxing, copying, archiving, and filing
- Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone and by email
- close attention to detail and strong technical skills
- Good judgment, independent thinker and resourceful
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise, and handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
- Good knowledge of general business and corporate cultures, team player
- Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
