REMOVALS ESTIMATOR
Step into a rewarding opportunity with an established international removals and relocation business as a Removals Estimator. In this customer‑facing role, you'll conduct in‑home and virtual surveys, assessing customer requirements and providing the information needed to plan seamless international moves. Ideal for an experienced removals professional, this position offers autonomy, variety and the chance to build trusted relationships while delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the relocation journey.

REMOVALS ESTIMATOR ROLE:

• Conducting approximately four customer surveys per day
• Completing both face-to-face home surveys and video surveys
• Inspecting household belongings and accurately calculating shipment volumes
• Checking garages, lofts, storage areas and other relevant areas of properties
• Identifying fragile, high-value, oversized and specialist items
• Identifying items requiring specialist export packing or crating
• Assessing property and street access ahead of moving day
• Discussing the international moving process with customers
• Answering customer questions and providing appropriate guidance
• Highlighting potential operational issues before moving day
• Managing a daily schedule of customer survey appointments
• Delivering a professional customer experience throughout the surveying process

REMOVALS ESTIMATOR ESSENTIALS:

• Demonstrating previous removals industry experience
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of household goods removals
• Demonstrating experience assessing or estimating shipment volumes
• Delivering excellent customer service and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
• Conducting customer surveys independently and confidently
• Maintaining strong attention to detail
• Identifying specialist packing and crating requirements
• Assessing property and vehicle access requirements
• Demonstrating strong organisational and time-management skills
• Maintaining a professional and reassuring approach with customers
• Conducting both home and video surveys confidently
• Holding a full UK driving licence
